A native of Lexington, Franklin earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Appalachian State University. He earned a Juris Doctor at the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina. He gained valuable experience by serving as the Staff Attorney for Fayette Circuit Court Judge Ernesto Scorsone. After this time at the Fayette Circuit Court, Mr. Paisley went into private practice focusing on criminal defense.
Since entering private practice, Franklin has represented clients accused of a wide variety of criminal charges, including driving under the influence, assault, drug possession, theft, robbery, drug trafficking and many more. Mr. Paisley is admitted to practice in all Kentucky Courts, and is a member of the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations. When not practicing law Franklin enjoys fly-fishing, going to Keeneland, and watching the Wildcats win national championships.
